Bamboo Straws – Zero Waste Straws part 2

My morning smoothie just got a tropical upgrade from these bamboo bad boys! The best things about my new bamboo straws, besides all the benefits listed below, is that they actually feel really nice in my mouth. Not trying to be suggestive, but they are really smooth and soft! On a more decent note, here are all the of the advantages of my new bamboo straws:
REUSABLE
Just like my stainless steel straws, I?m able to reuse these again and again. Wash with a straw cleaning brush, and they will be clean and ready for your next smoothie. Maybe this one with matcha and strawberries.
RECYCLEABLE
If they somehow gets worn out, I’m going to use them as flower sticks for my plants. It might be a while, so I have time to come up with some more creative ways to recycle my bamboo straws. Found this article about 7 ways to recycle bamboo chopsticks, it looks really interesting.
BIODEGRADABLE
Bamboo is capable of being decomposed by bacteria or other living organisms and thereby avoiding pollution (thank you google;)).
NATURAL PART OF NATURE:
We are able to grow bamboo and not “produce” it on big factories. This does cut down the production line and the pollution, compared to ordinary plastic straws. A 100% natural way to enjoy your green juices, smoothies and so on.
WHERE TO GET THEM:
Mine was a gift from a friend, who brought them home from Bali. But you can get your hands on them on myfairshop.com.
BONUS: They are really photogenic, if you ask me;) #simplyliving #zerowaste
