Mango & Turmeric Smoothie – Tastes a bit like sunshine, even when it rains

Festival season in Denmark is no joke, I feel like I’m running from one fun filled festival to another. I love it, but it does take it’s toll on my body. Last weekend was Musik I Lejet, and this coming weekend I’m going to Smukfest. In between, I like to give my body a break, and fill it with a lot of nutrients! That’s why I’m getting back on track with my green smoothie morning routine. This morning I found some mango in my freezer, woop woop. I love mango, and I tend to buy a bunch when I find the organic ones. If they all get perfectly ripe at the same time, I cut them in to pieces and freeze them down, for a rainy day (literally!). This smoothie was easy to make, and very delicious!
RECIPE:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 dl frozen spinach
- 1 large piece of mango (mine was frozen)
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Golden Milk powder (mix of turmeric, cinnamon, cocoa, ginger, vanilla, liquorice and pepper black)
- Water
*All organic
Blend it all up, and enjoy a healthy and refreshing summer smoothie:) #simplyfood
