Copenhagen Yoga Festival – A Sunday Well Spend

This Sunday was spend at yet another festival! This time it was a tiny bit different from all the music festivals I’ve been attending this summer, but I guess it was a healthy contrast. Copenhagen Yoga Festival was on, with a full program from Friday to Sunday. The weather couldn’t have been better, the sun was shining and the settings were perfect for an outdoor festival at Amager Strandpark.
Because of my knee injury, I couldn’t be that active, but I did join one class, and went along with as many of the poses as possible. The class was called Soul Flow: Becoming Human, and taught by Chantal Russell. My friend and fellow yogi Simone Lone had recommended the class and we did the it together. Besides it being a really nice vinyasa class, we also got a talk about life haha. Life being a mess, then meeting yoga and meditation and thinking that it would be the solution to everything. But today 15 years later, Chantal’s life is just as chaotic as it has always been, but she has found a way through yoga and meditation to be in it and deal with it.
Other than that, we just laid around in the grass, and enjoyed a quite afternoon with great food, kombucha and coffeee. The atmosphere was really quite and chilled, you couldn’t help yourself becoming fully relaxed and a bit lazy #theperfectsunday
Can’t wait for next year! #copenhagenyogafestival
